Dr. Fischer graduated from
St. Lawrence University magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Biology in 1977. He received his medical degree at
Brown University
in 1981 and completed his General Surgery training at the
University of Massachusetts
and his Plastic Surgical residency as well as a Fellowship in Hand and
Microsurgery at the
University of Pittsburgh
in Pennsylvania, entering private practice in the Connecticut area in
1989. He is Board Certified by the
American Board of Plastic Surgery, and served as a voluntary faculty member for the Yale Plastic Surgical
Residency Program until 2005, receiving the Resident Teaching Award in
1991. He is a past recipient of multiple CT Magazine Top Doctor Awards in
Plastic Surgery.
LouAnn Perugini, ACNP, FNP
Dermatology
LouAnn Perugini is a multi-board certified Nurse Practitioner, obtaining
accreditation in Acute Care (ACNP) and Family Practice(FNP) from the
American Nurse Credentialing Center, Adult Health from the American Academy
of Nurse Practitioners and is board certified in Dermatology (DcNP) by the
Dermatology Nurse Association. She is also a Cerified Aesthetic Nurse
Specialist (CANS) from the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nursing and
a DOT Medical Examiner. She performs medical tattooing, having
received training through the Society for Permanent Cosmetic
Professionals. Additionally she has certificates in adult critical
care nursing (CCRN, TNCC) and medicine (FCCS).
LouAnn received an MSN degree from Vanderbilt University and an MS degree
from the University of Colorado. In 1999 she was directly commisioned
in the Army Nurse Corp and attended the US Army Primary Flight Surgeon
Course. She served for almost a decade as an Aviation Medicine Nurse
Practitioner with the Army's elite 160th Special Operations Aviation
Regiment.
Along with Dermatology LouAnn has a special interest in Tropical medicine,
breast cancer reconstruction tattooing and scar therapy and volunteers
treating scars of Wounded Warriors and Military Veterans
Jennifer Fisher
Jennifer Fisher is a board-certified Physician Assistant. She obtained her
Bachelor of Science at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA, and her
Master of Medical Science at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston,
MA. Jennifer has clinical experience in both Plastic Surgery and
Dermatology. Her areas of expertise include management of all common
dermatological skin conditions and skin cancer screening. Jennifer is a
member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) and the
American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). She is board-certified by
the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and
currently licensed as a PA in the states of Connecticut, Massachusetts and
Rhode Island. Jennifer is passionate about promoting skin cancer awareness,
in addition to the effects of dietary modification on common dermatological
skin conditions. Outside of work, she enjoys exercising, baking, and
traveling.
Christine Boccanfuso R.N.
Clinical Nurse Manager of the Aesthetic center. Christine has been with
Milford Hospital for 20 years, 9 years in the operating room prior to
joining the Aesthetic center. She graduated from St. Vincents College of
Nursing and is certified as an injector for Restylane, Perlane,
Juvederm, Botox and Dysport. Christine specializes in skin care lines such
as Obagi, Neocutis, Biomedic, Skinceuticals, DCL, Allergan and Jane Iredale
Make-up. Christine continues ongoing education in Medical Aesthetics.
