Dr. Paul Fischer graduated from St. Lawrence University magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1977. He received his medical degree at Brown University in 1981and completed his General Surgery training at the University of Massachusetts and his Plastic Surgical residency as well as a Fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania, entering private practice in the New Haven, Connecticut area in 1989. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery , and served as a voluntary faculty member for the Yale Plastic Surgical Residency Program until 2005, receiving the Resident Teaching Award in 1991. He presently is the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Griffin Hospital in Derby, Ct. and Director of the Aesthetic and Cosmetic Surgical Center at Milford Hospital, Milford, Ct.
